Mrs. Eddy is currently serving as library media specialist at Greenwood where she has been since 2005.  Prior to working in the library media center, she taught third grade for fourteen years and fifth grade for one. 

Currently, Mrs. Eddy is a member of the Alabama Association of School Librarians.  She has been involved in many professional development activities, including ARI and SFA training. She was invited to serve on the Alabama Science Curriculum Committee in 2004 and was awarded Bessemer City Schools Teacher of the Year in 1999-2000.


Mrs. Eddy has been in education since 1990 and attributes her inspiration to teach to her three children, Bryan, Paul and Sara.  She loves imparting knowledge to her students.  Mrs. Eddy's husband works for Advance Central Services in Birmingham.

Reading, traveling, and crafting are Mrs. Eddy's favorite pastimes. She has traveled to England twice, Wales, Scotland, France, Grand Cayman Island and Hawaii.  Her goal is to see and learn as much about our country while she can. She believes that you are never too old to learn something new.
